Hopewell Church Covered Bridge

This covered bridge was named after the Hopewell M.E. Church. I believe the church was built in 1860. The small village of Chalfant Station, a.k.a. Chalfants, was located nearby. It was founded in the early 1800's by Robert Chalfant. The village had a post office, general store, blacksmith shop, wagon shop, and a depot.
